Vacuum technology for automation
For the automated handling of metals and metal sheets, fast cycles, high cycle times, and high reliability of operating rods are essential. Woyi's vacuum technology is applied as a gripper system on portals and robots, such as connecting stamping production lines. The gripper solution can be individually configured and designed through a wide range of separated vacuum components, or can be purchased as a ready to use gripper system based on specific applications.
The suction cups developed by Woyi Automation for handling metals and metal sheets can ideally meet industry demands. Suction cup materials can be confirmed to have a long service life, even on oily or high-temperature surfaces, while optimized shapes can grip convex and concave components during dynamic processes and absorb shear forces.
Woyi Automation also provides special vacuum generation devices to minimize work cycle time. The integrated vacuum generator SXMPi also has a wide range of energy and process control functions.
Vacuum clamping technology
In CNC machining centers, it is necessary to accurately and reliably clamp flat metal workpieces with a flat bottom. Even components and workpieces that are difficult or ineffective to be clamped by mechanical clamping, pneumatic clamping, or hydraulic clamping can be clamped in place by the array metal plate vacuum adsorption system. The workpiece is positioned by a mechanical stop device and clamped using vacuum, thereby achieving a simple and deformation free process.
The friction cup allows the operating handle to work at a faster feed rate and higher cutting rate. The array metal plate can be quickly fixed on the machine table using a clamping claw or zero point fixture system. By using the foot switch or operating manual, the workpiece can be easily and safely clamped and released.
Vacuum elevator and lifting track system
The vacuum elevator can achieve simple, fast, and safe mobile manual operation of metal and metal sheet. Due to the diverse shapes, weights, and properties of workpieces, Schmitz offers two series of vacuum lifters: Jumbo vacuum tube lifters and VacuMaster vacuum lifters. Both series have a wide range of different suction cup rubber available for selection. Specially suitable for supplementing the track system and cantilever track of vacuum elevators.
The manual vacuum lift used in the metal and sheet metal industry supports ergonomic handling of bulky workpieces. Even steel types that cannot be magnetized can be grasped. The vacuum elevator can horizontally flip the workpiece 90 ° or rotate it 180 °.
